Why builders trust us on site

We’ve done the job

Our founder learned many trades, then moved up from site foreman to contracts manager to project manager. We know how a site runs and what makes it look right on film.

We understand site safety

We know health and safety on site from the inside, so we work around your teams without getting in the way or creating risk.

We know what to look for

Because we understand the work, we film what matters: the craft, the progress and the finished result.

Selected work

JBS Construction

Drone & aerial

JBS wanted to show the building at its crane construction stage, along with an overview of the site’s surroundings. We filmed the whole piece from the air by drone, capturing the structure going up and how it sits within the wider area.

Local builder

Refurbishment · roof first fix

A local builder wanted to present the first-fix roof stage of a refurbishment project. We filmed the roof work at this stage and cut it as a short vertical film, ready for social media.

About

I’m Richie Morgan, a London videographer who makes films that pull you in, make you feel something and stay with you.

My career started in the late ’80s, when I was known as Richie Rich. I spent around eight years as a DJ on Kiss FM, then presented and produced at MTV Europe. I also founded Gee Street Records and produced songs and remixes. That’s where I learned to tell a story and to cut pictures to music so they really hit the mark.

I then spent years in construction, learning the trades and working up from site foreman to contracts manager and project manager, and later qualified as a Gas Safe heating engineer. After Covid I turned my focus to videography, and I’ve been building that craft for the past three years.

Sky Blue Eye Productions brings those worlds together: a storyteller’s eye and an ear for rhythm, with a builder’s understanding of the work.
